Madeleine Albright spoke at a reception for the African Leadership Foundation. She looks frail, older, and tired, but when she stood up at the podium to give her speech, she came alive. She was honest, outspoken, and accessible. When she answered questions that students asked, she had a modern approach to dealing with today’s global politics. It was an honor to photograph her.
