Tennessee State Rep. Gabby Salinas held a rally for constituents today in Memphis in support of the city’s immigrant community. The goal was to show their opposition of proposed bills that would bar undocumented students from receiving public education.
Spending ten days in Berlin & Budapest gave me a chance to look at the United States from a different perspective. To feel ashamed of America overseas is powerfully disturbing.
Great shoot this weekend — the first shot was in a neighbor’s garage. I photographed a group of men men involved in a non-profit organization called 3 Sisters whose mission is to raise awareness for families impacted by breast cancer. The group focuses on providing support groups for men that are casual and offer a relaxed way for men to get together, find solace, and develop friendships with other men and their families dealing with similar issues.
