The woods and the ocean are my peaceful places, and less than a few miles from my house, lies Rock Creek Park, where one day I met Melanie Choukas-Bradley, and now I enjoy my walks even more. Melanie asked me to make a movie for her to show in London. She is an award winning writer, teacher, and guide, who focuses on how people and nature “interconnect.” Brad Tehaan, of Whispering Pixels, was our editor and the video was shot on a frigid day this week that Melanie warmed up with her smile, her thoughtfulness, and her love of the woods and wilds.
Melanie’s is the author of A Year in Rock Creek Park—the Wild, Wooded Heart of Washington, DC, the winner of a 2015 IPPY award and City of Trees, which has been in print for over 30 years. Her website is www.melaniechoukas-bradley.com
